“CHILE: CUNY “Help for Chile Fund” Established for Earthquake Relief Efforts
CUNY’s Central Office Disaster Relief Committee has established a fund for charitable donations to assist Chile in the aftermath of the earthquake it suffered on February 27th. Tax-deductible donations can be offered by Central Office staff, members of the Board of Trustees, students, alumni and friends of the University. The donations can be made via check or money order payable to: CUNY Research Foundation with memo indicating “Help for Chile Fund,” #78512-00-01.” Mail to: CUNY Central Disaster Relief Committee, c/o Lenora Wade, City University of New York, Division of Student Affairs, 535 E. 80th Street, Room 524, New York, New York 10075. All donations to the “Help for Chile Fund” will go to the American Red Cross International Response Fund. The fund provides immediate relief and long-term support through supplies, technical assistance and other support to those in need.”
